Use of Electronic Devices

Electronic Devices are an inescapable part of life.  As such, I recognize that you have them and carry them and use them.  However, you do need to be aware of the impact they can have on others in the class.  Therefore, please adhere to the following guidelines.

Cell Phones and Pagers

Please keep cell phones off and pagers silent during class.  Also, these devices must be kept in pockets or bags, not lying on your desk, in your lap or in your hand.  Any use of your cell phone whatsoever during class (text messaging, calculator, clock) is strictly forbidden.  Any use of your cell phone during class will result in an automatic 200 point deduction.  This is a zero tolerance policy.  No warnings, no second chances.

Laptop Computers

Personal Listening & Viewing Devices
